I joined this school in 1966 and passed out in 1973. I remember moving to this location when the building was newly built and we were the first ones to move in. For me a new building for the first time in my life. Trust the building has been renovated and strengthened inside walls. Favorite teachers Mr. Jaspal Singh, Mr. PL Sharma, Mr. MP Upadhyaya,Mr. JC Sehgal and Ms K Mehrotra for brushing up my Hindi.

To all the conspiracy theorists blinded by a self-proclaimed historian named P. N. Oak, please Google on him and use your common sense. I can contradict all his points one by one, but I guess you can do the same if you shed your prejudices and think rationally. For the record, he filed a PIL in Supreme Court in 2000 to declare Taj Mahal as Tejo Mahalaya. It was promptly rejected and the court called it an abuse of the PIL process.

  • Mehtab Bagh, Feroz Siddiqui (guest) wrote 15 years ago:
It is believed that Shah Jahan planed to build a pure black Taj mahel which would look like the shade of white Taj mahel. But black marble cost many times more then white marbles and giant part of his treasure about to expend, so finally he postpone the plan. But Shah Jahan did not leave anything to proof this story, and this garden remain mysterious.
  • Mehtab Bagh, Krdheritage wrote 15 years ago:
The foundations by the river are the remains of a pavilion from which Shah Jahan would view the Taj Mahal across the river. This was probably intended for his entirely private use, from here he could have watched the building as it was being built. The name Moonlight garden has been ascribed to this place, possibly he used this as a place of contemplation after the completion of the Taj Mahal but it is equally possible he ceased using it in later years. Certainly it became overgrown and flooding from the river undermined the viewing pavilion's foundations. The Black Taj Mahal is a fantasy, even if Shah Jahan had concieved of such a structure there simply isn't the space for a mirror image of the Taj Mahal to be built here.
